KS2 Choir

Our KS2 Choir meets Tuesdays after school to rehearse and we welcome all children from Years 3 to 6. We sing all sorts of songs, from musicals or shows to carols and folk songs. We regularly sing rounds and two or three part compositions and really rise to a musical challenge!

​We are regularly asked to perform in the local community at events such as Keswick Summer Festival, The Victorian Christmas Fayre, the switching on of the Christmas Lights, St John's Summer Fete and Harvest Festival or other special times at both of our Churches. We have also featured as a "headline" act for the past two years in the Christmas Proms at the Theatre by the Lake, alongside professional bands and musicians.

It is very exciting to be so much in demand and we strongly encourage anyone who wants to join the choir to stay for at least a full term, as learning songs to a performance standard is not possible if children come and go.

Our choir members are thoroughly enjoying all the opportunities to get on stage and are looking forward to our forthcoming events. We look forward to seeing you at Choir!
