Year 6 London

The London visit provides a real change of pace and children quickly learn to safely negotiate traffic, crowds, noise and the amazing wealth of learning opportunities that London offers. While the itinerary may change from year to year, each group will visit a range of iconic London landmarks. Landmarks visited in recent years include St Paul’s Cathedral, the Greenwich Observatory and Cutty Sark, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St James’ Park, and the Tower of London and Crown Jewels. Other activities have included taking a boat along the river Thames, having a flight on the London Eye, seeing a West End show and taking a ride on the underground. It’s all go and very exciting!
